I'm working to create a demo CD with this female vocalist. I really appreciate any and all criticism/help.
"Track 6"
Guitar was doubled micd. One of the tracks was panned slightly right and the other slightly left. Vocals have a little bit of compression and a smidge of reverb on them.
"Brother John"
I wish I had access to a grand piano for this song. Alas, I haven't done anything to the keyboard track, I'd like to do something to it, but I'm not sure what. And again the vocals have a little compression on them.
The songs are uploaded at http://www.myspace.com/johnyates Neither are very long (2:30 and 3:30min). I have a few more songs to mix like these so I would appreciate your feedback.
