Two different playback systems possible?

I’m looking to use my mobo’s onboard sound for DVD watching, but use my M-Audio Audiophile PCI card for everything else. I have a program that decodes DVD Dolby Digital surround and I have a surround system. My mobo (Asus P4P800-E) has six channels out for each speaker.

When I built the computer, I installed the Audiophile and on initial startup, it detected it and everything has been great. Now I can’t seem to find my mobo’s onboard audio at all. It isn’t in the deice manager and (although I haven’t looked that hard) I can’t find it in the BIOS.

I just want to be able to toggle between the two playback systems for when I watch DVDs/make movies, and when I am mixing/listening to music. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

i have had a similar problem... unfortunately i have no good answer for you. in my laptop, when i uninstalled the drivers for the yamaha soundcard, the integrated intel extreme sound showed up in the control panel. when i put the drivers for the yamaha back on, the intel options dissapeared again.
