Has anyone find out anything new info about hooking up two delta 1010's? to one computer system. I keep looking on Delta's FAQ's but they have not updated in ages.

would it be possible to hook up two computers and sync each computer with each delta? If so, Please explain.

There was a very lengthy discussion in Sound On Sound's on-line forum regarding synching two Delta 1010s together in one PC. This is the link to the article. Beware though! It's over 14 pages in length - and a lot of people were very unhappy.

I've done it successfully. 2 1010s on a dual proc AMD running XP. I use the latest beta drivers with ASIO.

For the price of two Delta 66, you could get the Delta 1010... ;)

That's true. i realize this. But theoretically would it work?

It's not until the latest ASIO drivers where running 2 delta 1010's was actually accepted by M- Audio (and their customer service - ugh)- from what I can tell. However, it's always worked for me on older drivers at least. The trick is to connect the SPDIF out of the first Delta PCI card to the SPDIF in of the second. In the Hardware Panel, configure the first Delta to sync off of the internal clock and the second Delta to sync off of the SPDIF in. This is actually descibed on M-Audio's site, after some digging.

One beef I have with the drivers still is the naming conventions used to describe the inputs and outputs. The names are too long for easy visibility in the SONAR In and Out boxes in the Track view. But, it doesn't hold anything back performance wise. Anyone else experiencing this?

Windows XP and a TUSL/2 motherboard allows me to run two Delta 44s. Works fine just need to know a bit about computer to get it to work.

It does work.
