That's pretty bitchin' dude. Through me for a surprise because I was expecting it to explode with that intro, but instead went into a mellow style arrangement. I was expecting some kind of climax throughout the song, but didn't get one. Still good shit, no doubt.

I know, right? Didn't it seem kinda incongruent? :laughings: :laughings: :laughings:

Thanx a lot for all the help, guys. I tried adding some congruency (congruanism???) by taking out the snare while the bongo's playing. I also brought down the drums by a teenaged kunt hair and brought up the rythms by a pre-teen pube, as per your advice.

Thanx again. :)

Sorry, didn't catch the first mix, but this sounds really good.

Drums and vocals are scary tight. Snare sounds nice. Bass sounds good...um...guess I got nuthin'.:) Again, the vocal layering is super slick.

So, you were doing everything on the 2488 before...with that tiny LCD screen? Holy crap...wasn't that difficult? Do you find using the computer to be more fun, easier, better? I haven't made that leap yet, but perhaps someday.

I almost bought a 2488, but the lack of VGA output turned me off...I need to see stuff better than that. Good work here rami.

Thanx alot, Heat.:cool::cool:

Yes, I used the TASCAM 2488 to track everything on this. The little screen is the only bad thing about it. Except for one vocal part, I actually tracked this tune more than 2 years ago. I'm still going to be using the 2488 to track, but then I'll bring my tracks into the PC to mix.

Cool intro! Love the vocals! The low and high are tight! Could be a touch louder though. :) Bass is extremely clean reminiscent of Dream Theater. I think it could use just a touch more low end, but only during the verses and solo. That center section ROCKS! I'd like to hear a little longer fade on the end.

Great job!!!!! It's definitely RAMI!!!!

I don't know if you do this, R ... but I listen to everything through every monitor I can find ... and I always do the laptop test.

You passed w/ amazing colors. Well done.

Best,

Kev-

Hey Jeff. Thanx a lot, man. That fade out was longer, but someone earlier in the thread noticed that they can hear the click when the loop re-starts, so I had to cut it before it looped. That part isn't a synth loop, or else I'd probably be able to repair the click. It's me playing guitar with a violin bow. It was a bitch to do, but I can still claim that I never use any synths, samples, loops, etc......:D

Thanx K. Wow! That's nice to know. I don't monitor on anything other than my cheap home stereo HITACHI's that are connected to my REALISTIC home stereo reciever. My next purchase is probably going to be good monitors.:)

Although that may improve your listening experience, it's not quite necessary.

My primary mix speaker is a Realistic Maximus Seven ... shit top hard to mix on speakers that I hate to mix on ... because they are totally unforgiving.

Yet, like NY NY, I know that if I get it right there, I can make it anywhere. :)
