Turntable to pc

Can i connect my turntable to my pc,and download songs and burn them to cd ?
 
No, the level is too low. However you can run your turntable into any "old" stereo receiver "phono in" jacks then plug the line out or "tape out" of the receiver into your sound card line in jack. You should be able to pick up one of these old stereo receivers at a yard sale for about $10. I know there's a convertor box made to do the same thing but I think it was about $60. Have Fun.:cool:

Radio shack makes a small phono pre-amp that is pretty cheap and uses RCA jacks that you can plug directly into your sound card. It is a lot smaller than a full stero receiver if you are cramped for space.
