I closed my studio in Nicholasville, KY. Imago Recording Studios, llc. Pictures of most of the equipment can be seen at Imagorecording.com . You can email me through the website or at Josh@imagorecording.com. I started a new company in Atlanta (Imago Entertainment Group, inc) and we received an investment to purchase all new gear and a lot more and better gear. I purchased this equipment with my own money and want to sell it as it is not part of the new company and I do not have use for it. This is a complete turnkey recording studio complete with Auralex acoustic panels and diffusers, Pro Tools HD 3 and great mics and pre's. It's a great opportunity to get a ton of gear at a great price to start a profitable business. All the equipment was kept in a professional, climate controlled, smoke free facility and is in good working order. This set up was my baby, but in for a major upgrade, so I'm parting with it. I'd like to get $60k out of the whole set up. I will piece it out also if the price is right. This is a great setup. Grammy and dove award winners, William Shatner's voice overs for television, and many great indie rock, metal, hip hop, rock, and gospel bands have all worked on this setup so you can be sure some great sounding recordings can be made on this turnkey studio.

I seriously doubt you fill find anyone to cough up $60k for the whole lot (especially on a home recording website).

Most interested buyers will probably want single pieces and not the whole lot, since most buyers probably already have their own gear and are looking to add to it rather than buy into a turn-key studio setup.

I know from a selling perspective it sounds easier to sell it all as a complete studio....but not from a buyer's perspective.
Put up individual prices...I'm sure many of the items will sell faster (if the prices are good).

Thanks. I had put in there that I would piece it out individually. I'll put together an individual price list though.

There are a few pieces that interest me...so yeah, would like to see the individual price list.

I have seen a number of these kinds of posts- noob signs on to sell gear- and although I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I just gotta chime in, here, with something that has bugged me almost every time- the prices seem rather high. I have not checked any of the other prices (nor am I going to take the time to,) but a few things I do know the prices they sell for new, and knowing that used gear more than about a year old (often 6 months old) usually sells for about half of what it sold for new, and I see:
Martin D16 GT-$1,100- more than they sell for, new.
Vox AC 15-$500- only $200 off new price.
Fender American stratocaster-$1,200- sell new for 800 to 1,600, depending on model.

When I see that, I get suspicious, and suddenly not interested in looking, further. Maybe that's just me, I dunno.

i agree, prices generally seem quite high.

I will take the re20 at $100 though, if it's in good working condition, and you'll post to UK at my cost.

ya a d112 for 150, then an re20 for 100, and 57s for 40 bucks each!

hes kind of all over the place there, some are very high but others seem very low.

is everything is good condition?

I'm kindof pricing the stuff as to the condition it's in. It was used in a working commercial studio, so some of the pieces got beat up a little (IE the 57s) some of the pieces were newer, or kept in better care (i.e. some of the guitar gear) The D16 was actually a misprint and is $550. The american strat is in perfect condition, and is hardly ever played. I will take offers on the stuff too. Oh and I've actually been a member here since 2005. I haven't been on in about 5 years though because I moved the studio out of my house and really have been too busy to get on... old screen name was ImagoStudios. I have changed email addresses since then and really didn't have time yesterday to try and track down a password on an old email account that I don't even still have the password to as it was through an old cable company's internet service that now doesn't exist. I also priced everything rather quickly yesterday, so I might have just pulled some numbers on some of it (especially the second half of the list. I was in a hurry)...I'm basically trying to get 50-60% of retail on just about everything.

What condition is the API 2500...?
I would be interested if it's in tip-top shape (not beat up like the SM57 mics :) )...and at a 50-60% off retail price.

In your first list you had a Groove Tubes Supre...but in your price list it's not shown...?

Which Groove Tubes Velo-8 Ribbon Mic is that...?...the tube or non-tube? What shape is it in, and do you have the spare ribbon that they all come with and other accessories?

How are you doing these transactions...via PayPal?

The API is in great shape. One of my favorite pieces. and it was 50-60% of not off, but still a good deal. The supre sold between the two lists...sorry....I'm trying to update as quick as I can. And I am taking payment through paypal.

I am interested in the JoeMeeks, can I pm you or do you have an email?
Or PM me.

The Mo Phatt seems like a good deal, but I just bought the original Planet Phatt. If that one thrills me, I might be tempted to upgrade.
