MADE OF SANDALWOOD
I've got a Music Man HD130 with the 12AX7 phase inverter. I just changed my tubes to JJ E34Ls from GT 6CA7s, also replaced the 12AX7 with a JJ. The tubes don't seem to be running red-hot, and sound great right now. I don't have the courage to bias the amp myself yet, but am not sure if it even needs biasing. Right now it has basically the sound that I want, but I was wondering if it'd be in my best interest to get it biased anyway. Probably a pointless question since you'd really have to see the tubes to understand, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

bias

Tim....go to a pro and bias the new tube set up...(always)
btw...if you do not have a scope..or the experience of biasing amps...I would
recommend you don't attempt it without the same...
you will thank me later..and you will be much happier with the end result
Great amp btw..
