Hi all,

I am just about at the end of my tether with frustration.

I have a midi track on channel 1 of the TTS 1 softsynth but when I play the track the channel volume strip on the TTS 1 softsynth reverts to zero. Why does it do that? What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Have you accidentally added volume automation to the track or to the clip? Check for an automation envelope and remove if you find it.

Thankyou for your reply and suggestion. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem.
So, I transferred all the work to a new project window. All good so far, but am puzzled as to how the problem occurred in the first place.

Kind regards

Recently read of a Sonar bug that does not list MIDI events with a time stamp of zero in the Event View. A workaround was found but I don't remember it. Might be a place to start searching tho. the thread was in an....obvious place.

The workaround would be not to start your project at 01:01:000

Move it out a couple of measures leaving a bit of dead space at the beginning of your project.
