Let us be unburdened by that which has been ?
Maybe this should go in the Other Equipment forum, but I wasn't sure. I have some extra unbalanced cables with TS tips I was using to wire my DM Pro kit into my board. DM Pro kit was sold to buy an acoustic kit, so I have extra cables not doing much.

My question is, would these be suitable for guitar cord applications, or is there something else used in manufacturing guitar cords like shielding or something that the interconnects would be missing?

The cords should be the same. They both should be coaxial cable. One may be a better quality than the other but, interchangeability should not be an issue.

do a quick eyeball check of them... if it's a single wire with a sheild then you're good to go... if just 2 wires no sheild then it's a speaker lead...
