Im trying to trigger samples via my Alsesis Dmpro Module. You know like Harley davidson sounds and small wierd clips.
What other gear will i need to make this happen? I have all the triggers. Im just lost in what I'll need to get the tracks from my computer to my modual. What software is recomended? And do I need a sequencer triggerd by my midi out to do this job. Any help what be greatly appreciated!!!!
My alesis Dmpro has A pcmcia slot. Not shure what type of card I need for it though. If i can get that function going I think that would be a big hurrdle in what I need to get this job done.

As far as triggering samples, the DM Pro accepts trigger pulses directly. Just plug into the outputs from your triggers into the inputs on the back of the unit.

By 'Harley Davidson sounds and small weird clips' I assume you planning to use sounds that the DM Pro doesn't have onboard. You are right when you say you need a PCMCIA card -- here is a link to a good explanation of the ins and outs of PCMCIA cards. You'll also need a PCMCIA burner for your computer and Alesis Sound Bridge software.

This sounds like a lot, but it's gotta be cheaper and easier than trying to put together a setup with an external sampler for every gig. Once you get your samples burned on the card you will be good to go.
