Revised Lyrics.

All there is is you and I in this lonely world
no one's ever loved me like you do
the way you smile the way you laugh the way you look at me
every time you kiss me i'm renewed

All you've done for me, all you've helped me see
has been the greatest blessing in my life
All I've learned from you, and all you've helped me do
I'm so glad you chose to be my wife

Chorus

I've never loved someone the way that I love you
yes it's true
I'll never love someone they way that I love you
you know it's true

guitar solo

All there is is you and I in this lonely world
you've given me a different point of view
your caring ways your loving days the way you make me laugh
ever time you hold me I'm renewed

All you've given me, all you've helped me be
has changed the way I feel about this life
you've believed in me and helped to set me free
I'm so glad you chose to be my wife

Thanks for all the critiques guys. It's taught me that I should listen to myself when I have an issue or a hesitation with things in my writing :)

Good one Nicole Rose...I wondered about the chorus being repeated like that, but it works well the way you've written/sung/arranged it. I think the chord change to "D" (D = if my ear is right, lol) i.e. going "up" facilitates the repeat.

Good work on the arrangement as a whole, it flows well. Nice leads, drums were good, ending was cool.

:D:):D:)

This is the type of song that goes well with my morning coffee. I like it. Simple arrangement doesn't detract from the story. The song seems more thoughtful now than before. I don't know if it's the music, the writing, or a combo of each. Anyhooo, it's the type of thing that I like a lot.

Thanks guys :) i am glad it works for you. and yes Ido, it's a D :) yeah i thought the chorus was a little odd at first but i found a way to sing it rather quickly and it worked to my ears.

Dave it's probably the combo. the arrangement is really simple, but it fits the song well. i had wondered if it would be any good because of the arrangement. this is one of the songs i had no vision for the end product, but it seems to work quite well.

i appreciate both your comments and your former critiques. :)

the lesson i learned from this exercise is to listen to your doubts about the different lines in your writing. if a line doesn't seem right to you, it probably isn't.

It's remarkable how different these tunes sound from what I'd expect by reading the lyrics. The melody has a bit of a sad undertone to it and the vocals sound heart felt.
Very nice!

Thanks for sharing!
