I'm having a hard time finding some place online to purchase TRS plugs. I fear I'm not using the correct terms. On the switchcraft and neutrik sites they refer to phono plugs. So should I be searching for TRS phono plugs? Or a simple question - does markertek sell these things?!?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the help - I had to search by manufacturer to see the switchcraft plugs though. So just to make sure I don't order the wrong thing, for TRS I would want "3-Cond. 1/4" Male Cable End" correct?

Thanks again!

Exactly right, Mike - wouldn't it be great if they just eliminated about 3/4 of the words in the english language, so we could actually LEARN all of it and understand? Right now, there are WAY too many ways to describe the same thing... Steve

OK now I have a question.

Isn't a TRS insert cable the same thing as a Y-cable (1/4 stereo male plug to two 1/4 mono male plugs)?

Therefore isn't a TRS plug just a stereo 1/4 plug.

Or am I out to lunch. My Aardvark Q10 uses 1/4 TRS insert plug (although I haven't used them) but I dont want to use the wrong thing.

thanks,
larry

TRS stands for Tip Ring and Sleeve.
