on the owners manuel i get to "page 121"
and "step 7." it says select track but it just looks like gibberish to me.i dont get were to start,iv look at it a hundred times.
-i want most of the tracks panned in the middle, but a couple
panned in left

(2)
also should i maybe bounce tracks 1st?
i only use about 8 or 9 tracks.

and when recording to the CD-R,
is it true that any final adjustments to the mixer
wont record as i had prev. set it?
(does it record all the levels like the mixer was set on zero or
do the levels record as i had set them.)

You must first mix down to a stereo pair of tracks.to do this go to the mastering room section of your 1680.when you get there you must change the setting to rec.It is located in the top left of the Mastering Room screen. Now select the tracks you want to mix down to.I would recomend tracks 15 and 16.You may also select them with vertual track 16.It will look like 15-16 and 16-16.If you have already made all of your panning and effect selection to all of your audio tracks that you plan on mixing you can press record and play. You should see track select or tracks 15 and 16 blinking red.Now what is happening is all the audio you have recorded is going to track 15 and 16 as a stereo pair of tracks.when this is finished press exit on the mastering room screen and go to write CDR.If you have a burner connected to your drive you can burn this stereo pair (track 15 & 16) to a CDR.Just follow the instructions.Remember you must also select the right vertual track along with the main track number when selecting the source audio to burn on cd.
