Trouble loading VST

Hi: I wish to test the use of VST sax, trumpet and trombone. I have downloaded the free VSTs as in "Downloads". However, I simply cannot unpack them. When I double-click on the downloads I get the screens "monster 1", "trombone 1" and "trumpet 1". I simply copied the monster 1 files to the file VSTPlugins. When I try to use Monster 1, I get (from Reaper) "monster 2", and I cannot proceed. I copied the trombone and trumpet files also to VSTPlugins but Reaper does not recognise these when I rescan (even thought two of the files are .dll files). What on earth am I doing wrong. Sometimes the .dll file will download into a different plugins folder. Several times I've had to move a .dll file from the VSTPlugins folder to another plugins folder before Reaper could find it. There are several plugins folders scattered about. Try moving their .dll files to the Steinberg folder (if you have a Steinberg folder) - if that doesn't work, locate one of the other plugins folders and try there.

Or. . you could try downloading them again using a different download path.

Many thanks. Problem now solved. My trombone and trumpet are working fine. I deleted Monster Saxophone and replaced it with Saxophia which actually has 4 different sax sounds, alto, tenor etc. It is working fine also. Again, I really appreciate your help. Brian
