How do I set/send individaul keys to outputs?

I would like to have my choice of kick drum, (let's say it's a low C key), routed to output number 1 -- the snare to output 2, etc...

Or...ALL of my kick drums always routed to 1, all snares routed to 2, toms and specials to 3, and cymbals to 4.

So when I record my drum sequence on my 1880 I have more control for mix down.

thanks for any help,

bc

I don't have a Triton but since nobody has answered I'll try to help. You may be able to map the individual notes to seperate outputs in the patch editing section. Most keyboards treat a drum kit as one single patch and will not allow you to map seperate notes to different outputs.

In the older Korg keyboards you could definately not map any individual notes from a patch to seperate outputs. To get the same effect you would layer mulitiple patches and assign each patch to a different output.

Create a combi or performance patch with a bunch of kits that receive notes on different midi channels and send audio on different audio outputs. Then send the snare/kick etc on those seperate midi channels to the Triton.

Good idea -- didn't think of building custom combi.

thanks,
