Triton: Orchestra Hit Question

Ok,

Standard orchestra hits are geared for dance-type music. Anyone have any advice for a Triton LE (76key) noob on what parameter setup to use for an even, non-dance, strong orchestra hit?

Are you looking to create a one key 'stab' or this a mutichannel arrangement?

Usually a stab is brass and timpani (maybe a crash). It's just a staccato chord hit. It might help if you create a volume envelope so the sounds starts at a medium level and goes to full pretty quickly. That would make it work better with mid tempo music.
