hey guys...i came across this thing at work, it's a Tripp Lite LS-600b, on the front it says, "Line Stabilier/Conditioner" and on the back it says, "Low Voltage Regulator With SPIKE BAR Noise & Spike Supression"

is this thing maybe a good power conditioner? it only has 2 outlets on the back, but if it's any good i can probably find a use for it, like to plug in my monitors. it's just a small box, but its pretty damn heavy, so that leads me to believe that maybe it's more than just a glorified power strip. any ideas?

Assuming it actually functions correctly, it will be benefitial. I don't plug ANY of my electronics in without some sort of power conditioning in-line. Of course, my house has fucked up power, so it's worse for me.

But I use a Tripp-Lite P.C./V.S. for my computer and monitors. Then I have a Monster Power center for my speakersm lus another model for amps and other things throughout my little music room.

Power Conditioners are worth every penny...assuming you buy a good one.

dont know that model but tripplite is reputable co... FWIW i'm using one of thier UPS's here...

Old thread I know, but I bought a used TrippLite LC-1800 voltage regulator and it is working beautifully. It's a floor unit with six outlets and has the filtering as well.
