So Im running cubase 5 and trying to trigger my kit. I am having absolutely no luck. Im using an Alesis trigger i/o also to convert notes to midi. I run the xlr ddrum triggers to tbe back of the alesis trigger i/o then midi out to the midi in on my interface. When I hit a drum cubase and the trigger io show that I have signal. I then downloaded ez drumme to mess around. I created a vst instrument with a midi track. The input of the midi track is my usb audio device(Trigger io) and my output is ezdrummer. The problem is every single trigger is a high hat hit in ez drummer and the snare rim is a snare hit. I have no gm map enabled either since you dont need it for ez drummer. Is there anyway to assign easy drummer to a specific note? My alesis already is following the basic gm map (Kick = C1 etc) Any help is appreciated, thanks!
