Triggering audio samples from a MIDI file..

Hey,

I'm writing MIDI drums for my tracks in Guitar Pro then importing them into Instrument tracks in Pro Tools. I'm then triggering the kick drum with a Colin Richardson sample.

Is there a quicker way to automate this than sitting in Grid mode pasting a kick sample at every instance of a kick on that MIDI note? I do have SoundReplacer but I can't seem to get it to read a MIDI track, much less read just the kick drum's MIDI note.
 
use expand! to read the midi. Record the parts as audio. Than sound replace the audio.
 
Drumagog reads midi and triggers samples from it (among other things)
 
yes it does your right. but didn't know which sound replacer he was using
