Boss RT-20 Rotary Ensemble

i've been looking for a good quality vibe pedal for a while....
even though i have some tremelo and rotary effects available on my Yamaha DG stomp, they aren't what i want.

this thing was ok, but man, did it suck tone.

i've just about decided, that all my effects have got to have 'TRUE BYPASS'.

the effect itself, was pretty cool, with a lot of parameter changes available....
it's a pretty good leslie wannabe, and has fast/slow horn settings with a balance between...
the two pedals let you switch between fast and slow presets, and then toggle it off and on.

the only thing that's kind of strange, is that they put a 'distortion' knob on it, and the distortion is the crappiest, shittiest distortion i've ever heard.
it makes me wonder, when they were making it, why someone didn't step back and say 'ugh, that sounds like shite' and leave it off!!
LOL
they call it 'realistic overdrive'.

nobody's into vibe effects?
man.......

well, i just gotta find me a good one...
i think it's the coolest sound....

Into vibe here. I'm thinking about getting a Motion Sound Pro-3. Have a Mayer Voodoo Vibe and Mooger Ring Modulator but neither one really gets you to Leslie-land.

There's a couple Sheryl Crow tunes that have some great guitar Leslie and I would love to know how they got it. It sounds mainly like a rotating horn, so maybe the pro-3 is how they did it, or just micing up the horn on a Leslie.

Hi:try the LIne 6 Roto Pedal (MS 11). Bought one it is cool for keys and guitar
has three filters for three differnet cabinet sounds. Good balance knobs for blend between rotor and horn and on off for clean. Also has settings for how fast u change speeds from low to high
Cost was 120.00 without ac adaptor-takes 9 volt. Kind of hard to find but i can tell u where i got mine on internet. email to danagroff10@aol.com
hope this is helpful

I got a VST called Spin for free from Sonic Spot but it's not too flash. Seems OK then throws a crackle in at the end - or was it the beginning - can't tell when they're spinning. Mind you it might be my VST wrapper or something else. For free it's worth giving it a go in virtual land.
