I use almost nothing but Gotoh hardware on my guitars. Unless you want to count knobs, all the hardware I've used in the last year or so has been Gotoh. For trems, I'm using the Gotoh VS400 (good luck finding them in the USA, I've got to special order them). VERY nice stuff, though. Exceptional machining, great design, and first rate finishing. Their high end stuff (and they do make some junk) is the best made hardware on the market. Their Wilkinson stuff, along with anything in their 510 line, will never be a bad choice. I highly recomend their 510 tuning machines, by the way - there is nothing even close on the market these days. I don't like the "vintage" six screw Wilkinson trems, by the way, as the just don't stay in tune as well.
If you are playing anything other than rockabilly, stay away from Bigsby trems. Bad tuning juju, but they certainly have the vibe for the right style of music.
And of course, if you are going to be doing any divebombing trem use, you really need to get a Floyd Rose style trem. Gotoh makes a very good version, go figure, but so does Schaller. I would take either of those over the Fender Floyd's.
