Transpose

Please exuse my ignorance, oh great ones. I have cakewalk home studio 9. I`m attempting transposing. I recorded a godawful version of me singin...I wanna fall in love...chorus from that chris issac song. I then cut and pasted the same to trax 2,3, and 4. I selected track 2 and transposed it up a notch. Unfortunately ALL the trax are being transposed. Ya know, like, i mute trax 1,2 and three and track 4 sounds like Alvin from the Chipmunks.What am i doin wrong. I actually wanna tranpose each track a little higher than the previous and just experiment a bit. Any ideas would help. Bear with me ima newbie.

Transpose is a MIDI command. You might want to try Pitch Shift instead.

But if you are trying to use it to tune your vocals, you're not gonna be too happy. Try Autotune or RBC Voice Tweaker for that.
