How to make a guitar transparent ?

When i think about Art looking at something that is transparent
you can see through it but there is still colour and something
on the picture but the picture is just transparent.

How can i do this a guitar or vocal source to make it transparent
like how Art does transparent art.

Would it be layering the guitar but some how make the guitar
audio clip transparent see through?

Record it with the levels completely down... sheesh... you're getting on my nerves with all these stupid posts...

When you choose the color for the guitar, choose clear. That was our high school color and it sure was a trip to go watch the cheerleaders at the football games.

Well, if any color is imparted to the picture, it's transLUCENT, not transparent.

Seriously - use one of those Dan Armstrong Lucite guitars from the 60s.

I think what Walters means is...

Well, maybe some areas are transparent, and others translucent or not even transparent at all. Kind of like a latticed window that some crazy Scandanavian elk-herder has painted that famous profile of Alfred Hitchcock onto. Or even scratched a picture of a famous monument onto a piece of plexiglass with a bent roofing nail.

In that case I'd go with a transformer-isolated high-quality opamp-based pre-amp with either a small-diaphragm-condenser or a flat-response dynamic mic. (And roll off some bass too)

In the imortal words of Stan Laurel "You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be led. "

Don't know if this is what anybody would call "transparent", but...
If I'm doing two ac gtr parts and I want one to sound more focused and up front and the other to sound hazier and distant I record one with close mic's (focused) and the other with mic's far away. And it can be over emphasized by doing the focused guitar with clear detailed mics and the "transparent" one with a less detailed dynamic in the corner of the room. But it takes a good sounding room to have it not sound like a joke. No substitute for a vintage tube computer though.

How do i audio Mask two tracks together?

what is audio masking?

Transparency-
1.) is clear surface making audio like that
2.) open sound source
3.) The audio track invisible
4.) allows audio to pass through it easily

Suck out a lot of 1k, that should take the color right out of it.

Transparency:

"Comb Filter" "FFT Analysis" "Equalization" <----------Google

Steps to take-------
Frequncy Analysis: Guitar
Frequency Analysis: Bass & Drums
Frequency Analysis: Vocals

Find common frequency of guitar with bass, drums, and vocals.

Subtract common frequency of guitar with bass, drums, and vocals using 1/3 octave equalizer. OR equalize the mid frequencies of the guitar all of the way down and slowly bring them back up while listening for proper sound.

Use high-quality preamplifier. Equalize guitar -6db below 150hz.

For vocals:
Move microphone into the center of the room.
Equalize -6db below 100hz
Use a high-quality preamplifier.
Sing well.
