Transfering R-8 midi files (.syx) to the to R-70; will it work?

Does anyone know if I have a song on an R-8 will it transfer over to an R-70 OK? By that I mean if I do a MIDI bulk dump from the R-8 to a .syx file to my computer, can I then transfer that .syx file to the R-70 and keep the same basic song?
