transfering individual tracks from my roland vs 1880 to mackie tracktion

So i have my 1880 hooked up via spdif i/o and midi i/o I am wondering if anybody knows how to transfer each recorded channel at a time and haveing acurate sync timing....what i do now is try and hit play on my 1880 at the same time i hit record on trackion...(hot working) i like the ease of trackion and i but i like recording a copy of the song to my computer via tracking then bouncing songs to the 1880 can anybody help...???
THE 1990 is the only interface that i can record on although i do have a m-audio 2496 card if you sugest that i upgrade and get a new daw if so whic one?
 
why dont you midi slave traktion to the recorder so you dont have to hit two buttons at the same time
 
look up in your traktion manual on how to sync the sequencer via midi. That way, you just arm your tracks, hit record in tracktion, then hit play on your tracker and both should start simultaneously
