Nice...

The mandolin would be a good addition, as well as some chewy, simple fingerstyle guitar (I feel like I'm describing an Spanish Rioja wine - "with a little nose and plenty of velvet..."). If you can do this live, you could get the instruments to dance a little and add some more dynamics.

This is a great project!

I downloaded the track, and I found myself listening a lot over the last few days.

THere is something I would like to mention. There was a hint of a hook there that I wish you had used a little more.

between 1:06 and 1:09 where it goes 54345,57543 low77 111, but that is so sweet and I wished it appeared more in the melody.
 
Wow, I am impressed, Cyan Jaguar, spot on. It is a good hook, I wore a smile when I used it, it felt great to do. The reason I didn't use it in the song more is that it had its place in the order and rythm of the song and it would have changed the pattern too much.
