Tracktion/Missing Files...

Anyone use tracktion/ anyone know how to -in general- deal with organizing projects in a daw?....in tracktion....i import files, save them in a project, then am told they are missing when i try to get back to work on the project....i thought it might be firewire/external harddrive related but put everything on my laptop directly and had the same problem...losing work and so frustrated...any advice lusted for...thanks,

I put every file for a project (song) in one folder on my external firewire drive and Tracktion finds it fine. When you go into Tracktion to reopen a project do you see the orgin tree that you "saved as"? Also are you saving the project and changes before you close Tracktion? Hope this helps.
