tracks on sound forge

i have been using sound forge 5.0 for a few months now, recording my dj sets for friends, but until now i havent been able to separate each song into its own track. my mixes are currently continious, and i would like to separate them so one could skip from song to song with outh having to fast foward through the whole cd. can i do this on sound forge or do i have to get some type of cd mastering soft ware ???

Can't you just select the chunk of sound you want, cut it, and then paste it into a new file?

You can, with Nero at least, divide up a wav file into multiple tracks.
