ARE YOU TYPING IN CAPS TO MAKE A STATEMENT?

lol

I am not familiar with Garageband, but it really is a toy in comparison to the DAW's available to you.

Just a suggestion here, download Reaper and move on. Much more to learn however...

Anyway, it seems you have inputs crossed. You will have that with any DAW. Select source for input. Select the input source for every track. Every DAW/software has that option. It is the basic first step in what they do.

If you have other tracks coming through, well... you screwed up the first or second step.

It is ok to be new to this. I was there myself once.

We are here to help. :)

What Jimmy says ^^.

You've got yourself good little interface there, and you will get better value from it by dropping Garageband and trying something more versatile. Reaper is a good choice, and there are many here who can help you with it.

As to your problem, I suspect the problem to have its source in GB, rather than Apollo. Maybe someone adept at GB will come along and help.

I'm confused as to how a direct in signal could ever have bleed from another one.
