okay im using FL6 and I dont understand how to track out my beat...... what I was trying to do was to save each indivisual instrument as a .wav and import it into adobe audition seeing as i know that program and im more comfortable mixing in it....... but when i tracked it out the sounds where all distorted.... can anyone tell me how they would go about doing this.

Do you have alot of plugins on your master channel? When you split the tracks, they don't sound like they do in the whole mix because your not hearing whatever plugins you have on your master channel. Try to put each separate sound into it's own track and put whatever plugins you need on each individual track. The plugins on the master track will only be heard on the master track. All the other tracks are separate. If that's not the case, then i really don't know why the tracks would be distorted. Make sure you have the volume at a decent level. Is the audio clipping? You might just have to turn down your tracks and do it again. Hope i helped man.

my melody is made up using all soundfonts....... the way i did it was even if i wsed the same soundfont on different patterns I I loaded it to a new line on the sequencer (if you know what I mean)....... i dont know if I should have done this or just keep one line on the sequencer and used different patterns....

this sounds real confusing

Send all your sampler, soundfont, generator, etc... to it's own mixer channel. after that, when you go to render your song to wav, make sure that the "split mixer tracks" option is ticked.
