Sorry for crossposting this, but I am not getting any replies to it:

Ok, I know how to using CEP(Cool Edit Pro) BASICALLY. I want to make my first "good' recording. How do you go about doing it?

The song I am doing is 128 bpm. Do I make a click track? I did that, and the clicks aren't even matching up with the tempo bar at the bottom. Weird! Is there a better way to do this? How do you guys matc up the tempo to everything? I am frustrated.

I could do it sloppy, but I would rather do it the right way.

well i dont know about cool edit.. but if the click doesnt match the tempo.. it either sucks, or u are doing something wrong ;)

What fun is that! I know how to drag blocks and everything. I just want to be able to create a tick track that is accurate with the tempo ruler.

Copy one click and paste it on the beat markers for one measure. Then copy that measure and repeat paste it onto the rest of the song.
