Soothing tune.I'll have to add this to my homerecording.com MusicMatch Jukebox playlist.:)

very nice tune...

maybe it's just me but it sounds like it might be a bit too crisp...but I really like the vibe and mood........A LOT....the problem with the highs could be my speakers though..they may be close to burnt.....very enjoyable tune..

I think that acoustic might come in a bit loud on the lead but very sweet sounding ditty....

--edit-- I checked out your other tune and the song was decent but the mix was not right...like the vocals are too loud...

Very nice piece.

It stands well on its own and yet I can hear a vocal part.

The mix sounds pretty balanced to me. Nothing out of whack.

Maybe the low end could be bigger on some instruments though. Also, I dont think it it zero, so you could normalize for a tad more volume.

but, as was said, a very relaxing piece

funk on!

Nice Stereooooo mix. Very NICE music. Very NICE chord changes. You were able to musically take the drone-ness out of the dulcimer, and make it very appealing to listen to. Nice mix too...tough to complain...maybe lower the percussion stuff a smidgen, like the tamborine.

At 2:42, the gtr comes in a little loud and bottom-y sounding, and then disappears, and then the mix reverts back to it original state.

I love the sound you get when the dulcimer is playing basically solo.

If the song were a minute shorter(like around the 3 min. mark), you'd get 'em squirming for more...as it is, you get your fill when it's done. Watch that last fade out note...goes kinda quick before the instrument naturally dies away.

Thanks for the advice folks. I am in the process of fixing that guitar solo and I am figuring out where to cut the song fot time. I think that if there was a vocal it would be at the right length, but as an instrumental I agree it becomes a little to redundant at the end. I should have something done by tomorrow...

Thanks :D

I really like this piece. The sound is just beautiful. I agree with mixmkr, the tamborine on the right side might come down a tad. And when I listened for it, I could hear what he was talking about when the acoustic comes in before the 3:00 minute mark. But this is just about perfect to my ears - maybe a little dry, not sure.
