Did i do the right move....cuz now i can't use my sblive audio capabilities is there away where i can use the WDM and Sblive cuz i did see a box in audio options for use of MME interface only which i don't wanna do...also its says i have 6 outs and for ins it says i have 8 outs...anyone else get that?

You need to get WDM drivers for the SBLive as well. This should allow you to use both cards using the WDM drivers.

There are WDM drivers avail for SBLive for Win ME and Win 2000. Not sure if anything is avail for Win 98.

Also, the Delta drivers seem screwed up when you profile the card (they show the wrong number of inputs and outputs). However the in/outs show up correctly when you actually start working within Sonar (at least they did in my case).

i should of thought about that....but when i play audio wit the wdm drivers I hear pops and shit so i took it out u don't get that?...hmmm maybe i should of messed wit the settings cuz the wdm drivers are better for sonar right?

The file I used is: SBLWMEDrv.exe

This file is on the URL page that you referenced, but since there are other files on that page I just wanted to be sure that this was the file you downloaded.

Also, you might need to reinstall Sonar to get it to recognize the new WDM drivers (there's probably a way to do this without reinstalling, but I'm not sure how). Make sure you have installed the WDM drivers for both SBLive and Delta before you do this. It should then recognize both cards.

The WDM files are better with Sonar for getting reduced latency. If you want better latency, then WDM is the way to go. Otherwise I don't think you'll have any problems with MME drivers.

The clicks and pops you got were possibly the result of having your latency set too low. In the Sonar Options -> Audio menu you will find settings for mixing latency. Try pushing the slider for buffer size further to the right (safe) and see if that gets rid of it. You can also increase the number of buffers just above this. If they are currently at 2, you might try going to 4.

I don't know what i would do wit out U d....yea those were the files I dled....i'll do the reinstall and see what happens
