I dig it. I like the guitars, what did you do with them? 2 mics? Thick sound. I like the kick and bass, they go together well. Vocals might be a little up front for me. Really cool sounding overall for me. Well done dogman.:)

Man, it's been a *LOT* of years since I heard this tune . . . I used to own the LP

The drums kill the original, as I recall. Definitely the double bass runs, I don't think Lee could do that in 1982. And I don't miss Neil's screechy vocals at all.

Well done!

Needs cowbell!!!!! :p

The title "Too Fast For Love" always makes me giggle because it makes me think that Vince Neil suffers from premature ejaculation.

Are the background vocals from Rob Halford? Those are stellar.

I've heard better lead vocals from Greg...it's not a slam, it's a testament to his normal vocal strength.

Lol. Dude thats Dogman. :D

I asked Dogman to do the vocals because he's manly sounding. Total opposite of Vince Neil. :p

I did the horrific background screaming. :p

Thanks guys. :D

The guitars are an Epi SG into a DigitechRP300a. I used a rectifier setting. I run that into my little amp and hung a 57 on the grill, smack in the middle and double-tracked them.

LOL...I guess I should have been clearer in my post....Greg did all teh music, I just sucked it up with my vocals....:D

I like your vocals. I don't care that they aint pitch-perfect. They rock!

The followup track "Ten Seconds to Love" off their next LP, Shout at the Devil, should remove any remaining doubt :p

Great collab guys

I'm out if breath just listening to you guys. That's one hard workin' song.... Mix is perfect - what are you using for reverb/echo? It sounds really good - subtle but very effective.....

:D:):D:)

I think Greg used the Turd Polisher plug, then added some slapback on the main stuff....plus they weren't recorded properly....I left my setup from when SnakeDog was at my house, and I got alot of wierd room noise happening....:D

Thank Ido. I used a Classic Delay from kjaerhus.com. It's free and awesome. All of their classic series plugs are cool and easy to use. If I remember correctly I used the "vocal slapback" preset and sync'd it to the song at the 1/8 setting. I twiddled and fiddled the feedback and effect level to get a crisp, quick-decay effect. It's similar to using a reverb with the pre-delay jacked up a little, but it keeps the effect clean. After that I used a very mild vocal reverb. Dog's raw track had some natural room/chorus sound on it, so I didn't do much.

Oh, and lots of turd polisher. :D

Thanks Brother Snake...:D

This song rocks. Don't know the original. The bass is very cool. Could come up slightly. The SG is sounding better and better with each recording I hear from Greg. Next time, I'm at the Guitar Center will give it a go.

The guitars sound really nice. The drums sound jamming. The snare phase effect sounds cool where all music stops.

Domang, the vox are jamming dude. :) Rock on guy!
