I was pretty much sold on the Toneport at first, but then heard good things about the GP w/Rifftracker as well as the Black Box. Anybody have experience with them or have preferences?

I have the Riffowrks program for my Guitarport. And to be honest with you, I'm not all that satisfied!

And nobody better tell me that there's any kind of difference between using Guitarport or Toneport because Riffworks works the exact same way with both.

Riffworks is nice to use to record samples or simple tracks, but you're very limited when it comes to editing what whatnot. If you want to get technical and record somewhat-professional like tracks, I'd say go with some other kind of software like ACID or Cakewalk
