So when I record with the toneport using the Ableton Live program that came with it I get a ton of latency and it bumps my cpu usage by 50% or so. And not only that, but it distorts the tracks that I record so they become off time. As far as I can tell the problem is that one of my drives (not sure which, this is just what a compatability test told me) is in PIO mode instead of DMA. From my limited understanding, it seems like this could cause all my issues. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to change the mode or even if it's possible. Any help you could offer would be excellent. Thanks.
By the way, I'm pretty impressed with the actual tones it offers. Obviously it's nowhere near the sound of the real amplifiers, but it does an admirable job for its price tag. Perfect for someone like me who basically just wants to record their ideas and demos.
