Solved Tommy Emmanuel - Amazing Grace

I got tired of messing with my version and came across a video of Tommy Emmanuel's version on YouTube. This is a very rough recording. I barely know the arrangement and kind of twisted it into my own thing in a lot of parts, for better or for worse.

I kept forgetting what part came next. :D Evidence that I could use a little practice on improvising. :o

P.S. If anyone can find a guitar tab for his version that would be very appreciated and help a lot. It's impossible to figure out all the single notes he's playing.

I'll probably upload another version once I learn it a little better but I'm impatient. Can't even compare this with his version but oh well. Guess it's an oversimplified arrangement.

 
This version is a bit more complex compared to your last one - cool. :cool:
Good playing and recording....

It's tough to find tabs on a lot of the really good stuff, or the tabs are oversimplified. I would try and extract as much as you can and then improvise with what you know - which is what I believe you're telling us here...
 
Thanks ido. It's not easy to play even when simplified like it is now. Tommy Emmanuel has a way of making the most difficult stuff sound so easy. If anyone is curious this is the video I was talking about:
