Most of you older guys know who Todd Rundgren is, and his reputation as a top-notch record producer, songwriter, and musician.
The man is a musical genius, and well-respected throughout the music industry.
I kinda stumbled on to his website late last night, and it's very, very cool.

Check this one out....

onomatopoeia

Some years ago Todd assembled a ninja kill squad and called it Utopia. I was witness to the Oops! Wrong Planet show when it came to ChiTown. 7th row at the Auditoruim. He was playin the Ankh and climbing up a pyramid. The show ranks #2 on my all time list behind the who with moony.

You are right Todd is Godd! I think it was EQ mag a month ago that had a great article on how he is using the net to get his music to his fans.
I saw him a couple times in the late 70's. I want his painted SG that used to be Clapton's.
Rock On!

I was dumping my trash one day at the woodstock dump and there were a bunch of burnt keyboards. One of them was still in pretty good condition so I took it home. I took the
keyboard out and ground off all the keys and took all the boards out of the singed case and put them together on my
livingroom floor and voila, it worked. It turned out to be
Todds keyboard, his house on Mink Hollow road had burnt down and the keys had wound up in the dump. It was a digital
circuits? or something to that effect. I found it was a pretty expensive keyboard at the time and asked next time I
went to the dump how it got there and read about his house
burning down. I know, totally unrelated to the topic.

I was a Utopia fan and a Rundgren fan but calling him a GENIUS ? That word gets thrown around from time to time. Prince, Clapton, Michael Jackson, Beck(not Jeff). They got that genius label for a while but it didn't stick, did it.

yes, genius applies to todd
check out a couple of albums by a mod/pop band called nazz
from the midlate 60's. 18year old todd's group breaking some
new ground (listen to "under the ice") also the double disc
"something/anything?" half of which he played and sang all
parts to. if your into guitar listen to
"couldn't i just tell you" lots of his early stuff stands up today, and were talking more than 30 years ago.
political? check out "love in action" or "some folks is even
whiter than me" or "heavy metal kidz" not to mention all the studio wizardry and production credits and writing software for atari when most people didn't know what software meant
peace and love boys and girls
