To many plugins?

Ok, here I am mixing a demo of my band in protools Digi001. I've use like 15 plugins and my pc wont handle it.
I'm usin Pentium 4 1.6, 512 RAM, 60 GB hard drive. Am I using to many plugins? or i should format my Hard drive?

No really, That is a lot of plugins you are using at the same time man. Add to that, 10 or 15 audio tracks and your just asking for it.

Lighten up on your plugin load OstiaMan.

Don't reformat your disk. :rolleyes:
 
multiple tracks don't bog down your pc as much as multiple plug-ins will. mixdown/process a few tracks with fx to new tracks to ease the load and either mute the original tracks or remove them from the project (but keep the original files).
