TM-D1000 and 2 souncards

I have a tmd1000, a SBLive Platinum, and a Montego II. I was wondering if I could take the tracks on my tascam and somehow route some to the Montego and the others to the SBlive. I was thinking one soundcard goes to SPDIF and the other to stereo line out. Am I just dreaming or what?
 
Would you be so kind to grace me with your superior knowledge and tell me how? :D
 
very funny.

You can do it just like you said.. run one line to the SPIDIF on your SB from the SPIDIF on yout TMD... then assign the LR Buss (or other busses.,) on your TMD to Digital out A... or whatever it is...

ON the other card.. just run some analog signals.. like your 1234 busses or your main outs.. and stuff.

If you dont know how to assign your busses to different outs.. then start playing around some. Thats what Ill have to do, cuz I have a fixed instalation on a TDIF line. ..

In a pinch you could use all analog outs.. but why waste the SPIDIF.

I *THINK* that the default setup has the LR buss thru SPIDIF... but who knows what yours is doing.
