May be somebody could help me with this strange effect which is driving me nuts:
Any second track I record in Cubase VST 5 also comes with the sound of the first one. Therefore, on the 5th track, all the four ones are also recorded, and so on. It has to do with some kind of feedback that I cannot find.
The sound card I use is an Audiophile 2496, that goes to a simple mixer (Phonic 1002a). I only use audio instruments, so far.
Another strange effect -may be in relationship with this one- is the nasty metallic sound I always get when pressing the record buttom.
Thaks a lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Really.
