I'm a young musician, I've been playing and recording on everything from a couple portable tape decks mixed down onto eachother to a new PC with an audiophile card and cubase.

I've been thinking about what I want to do for a living (rockstar, artstar, studio owner, illustrator, graphic designer, producer, recording engineer, ect.) and I want to (later on of course) get a small professinal studio up and running.

are there any general tips on how to start? financing, space hunting, ect ect. just...basically, if the studio owners who charge for their space/egineering abilities could give me a really quick overview of how they got there...I would be very greatful.
