My voice teacher is going to sing some opera in a local church, and I'm going to record it as a favor to her. I had planned on just setting up a pair of condensers , setting levels and hitting record from a comfortable distance back, but I know that there are more intelligent ways to decide on placement than that. Does anyone have experience in recording this type of music? I would really appreciate some advice
