I was wondering if anyone had any tips to share about trying to make all tracks fot together as a whole.
I'm having a hard time making all the instruments in my songs have an equal eq from one song to the other.
I know most of it is from the fact that I suck at it, but I would be interested in hearing if anyone has tips to help this issue.
What I'm doing now is concentrating on one song and making that song have the correct mix (all levels the way I like them) then wrintting down their 'peak' and their average levels. Then I go to the other songs and try to match those.
But when I compare them afterwards side by side they still sound 'off' a bit.
I'd be curious to know is this a really big deal?
If songs have a different 'feal' is it fine to have them sound a bit different?
I searched but didn't find much...
