Tips for maximum performance

To get maximum performance out of your windows workstation you need to tweak a lot (I did this myself with my XP workstation, and it surely helps...). I've found an excellent site with great, easily readable, guides to tweak your system settings, services, memory & hardware:

Just a word of caution - system tweaks will differ depending on the end application you are tweaking for. IOW, tweaks that are good for gaming, may not necessarily be the best for a DAW.
