Throw That Cat Away

We need to make some guidelines as to what constitutes good cat vs bad cat.

For example...

Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Jaguars, Panthers, Cheetahs, stuff like that - good cats.
Cats that live in a house with people - bad cats.

I respect any animal that can eat me while I'm resisting, feline or not. I don't respect the bad cats.

I'm glad the dog ate her. He was hungry, and she was dead. The dog surveyed the situation and acted appropriately. Did you ever see that movie "Alive" from sometime in the 90s? Now those fuckers were sick. Die with some pride, for Christ's sake! They were eating their best friends and relatives raw. They didn't even have enough respect to throw them on the grill for a few minutes.

That movie sucked, by the way. People only went to see it because they thought it would be 90 minutes of soccer players eating corpses. It was over an hour into it before they even decided to eat anyone.

Cats are awesome. I'm pretty sure my little black Bengal could take any dog it came in contact with. :)

Nice to hear something from you again Crows. I was disconcerted at first by the quiet lo-fi acoustic intro, but it quickly rose in volume and clarity which was a nice effect.
I always enjoy the high, layered vocals you do on tracks like this. It's a cool sound that you've developed over time and is instantly recognizable as you.

The claps were a bit much at times maybe? Just a little loud and off the beat for me, although I appreciate their role in this track and think they belong. A fun, yet relaxing track. Thanks!

Thanks heat! Always nice to hear from you. :)

Do you have another alias on Souncloud?

You're welcome!

Yeah, I still have the kingseesar page with actual songs with lyrics and stuff, but last year I got sick of writing songs and just started doing weirder, more instrumental things and created a page under the name of ape teeth (a jumble of pete and heat).

I knew it! It sounded different, but I can still hear your style within those songs. They're good! :)

Damn nice crow. Definitely hints of devendra and bon iver going on, but not ape-ishly so. Vocals and their arrangement are great, as is the guitar line that comes in around 3.00.

Handclaps work well, but I wonder whether you can tighten the timing up in a few loose spots?

Thanks rob!

I'll certainly have to re-record those spots. Or, if I'm lazy, just move some of the sections of the clips. :D

Liked the song. Wasn't in a metaphoric mood so I wondered where you threw the cat to. Liked the sound and vibe. Different.

Nice snowball effect with the vocals and melody. Very campfire. Damn, this is pretty nice dude.

Thanks fat! :D

I didn't really like this one when I made it, but it has certainly grown on me.

Does song. Doesn't like it. Song's a hit. Needs a second set of ears. Has clinic. Achieves success. Done.
