Came across a G&L Strat a few weeks ago. A USA made Legacy.

I have to say I couldn't put it down. I was very impressed.

Did some research when I got home and found it was a company started by Leo Fender and George Fullerton.

What are your thoughts on these guitars?

I think I will be picking that one up soon if it's still around when I have the money

In my experience they are very good, at least the USA ones. They did some cheaper import lines that are not that amazing but the USA ones reek of quality (especially the ones I played...last century).

I know I played an s-500 awhile ago, and I've been dying to own one ever since.

My thought is I want one too.

A butterscotch ASAT with a birdseye gun oil neck would do very nicely.

Big Fan,

I have an ASAT Jr. Love it. Great build quality.

My thoughts have always been that if I were going to get a Fender, I'd probably wind up getting a G&L

I loved it and have to get back there to pick it up. Aside from playing great and sounding great it was gorgous.

IMO you are not going to find any better brand of guitar than G&L G&L + Gary and Leo.

doesn't G&L stand for George and Leo? i always thought it was george fullerton.....lol

i've got a G&L bass, actually and I love it. 1987 L2000. it plays amazingly, and even after being 22 years old still looks BRAND new. i've always loved G&L's, as i've been an alice in chains fan forever, and jerry cantrell uses a G&L rampage that I love, and a few G&L asats! Great sound!

G&L Legacy HB in Cherryburst with a custom V-Neck. I absolutely love this guitar.

G&L USA are on par with Fender Custom Shop guitars. All are handmade.

G&L S-500 in Honeyburst
G&L ASAT Bluesboy, also in Honeyburst

Brother and sister, inseperable in my opinion.

and they play like butta'
