Those darn NS10's again (MS vs MC)

Was looking at the Yamaha site for info on the contraversial NS10's.

I found that there are 2 of them. The NS10MC and NS10MS. The product descriptions on the site are very similar (even the picture is the same) and the specs are identical.

Someone asked this question in this forum before but no one answered.

Anyone know what's the difference between the two?

Well, it looks like the MC is approx. 4 mm deeper, and on it's accesories page it shows the wall/ceiling mounting brackets. But if you read the info for the brackets, they claim to work with the MS and MC.

The MS may just be an older version and they haven't removed the link yet. Otherwise, they would appear to be idetical unit. Although, the MC specs showed the specific driver that is installed for the woofer and tweeter, so, the MS may in fact use different drivers. Hard to say since the MS does not list the specific drivers installed.

Oops I guess the specs aren't similar. Guess I wasn't very meticulous when writing that post.

I checked at zzounds.com, which carries them both, and it seems that they are the same thing but the NS10MC is a "NS10M Designed for Installation".
