Well, in trying to find the DAW that best works for me, ie UI and workflow, I'm testing out the Adobe Audition CS5.5 Demo. So far I really like it. One thing Right off the bat is how is it is to 'figure out' and set up. The next thing I notice is that a couple of my favorite 3rd party Plug in's dont work in VST or AU format. For example, both of my favorite Stillwell Audio's Plug in's, Transient Monster and Rocket, result in the meters pegged in the red and resulting in a loud 'buzz'. All the other DAW's if tried so far have had no problems running them. Could just be a Stillwell only problem, I'll see.
Is limited support for 3rd party Plug in's normal for AU 5.5 or did the seemingly more liked earlier 3.0 version not have this problem? Thanks
