1. usb for audio. it cant handle the demands of audio particularly
if you have other usb devices doing their thing on the usb bus.
if you have usb sopund problems try removing other usb devices that might be sharing usb.
2. use at least 512mb memory in pc.
3. make sure dma is enabled on hard drives.
4. when using a pci audio sound card try preferably keep pci free for just
the sound card if you can, and not put other stuff in pci slots.
eg fancy gaming and other cards.
5. use 2 hard drives (dma enabled) and DONT BUY 2 of the biggest.
sometimes this can lead to system overhead. as windows has to keep track of everything.
maybe others can add some more ideas.
